Smartsheet is an efficient and organized tool manifold, it helps me manage tasks and projects, and collaborate whether I am managing a small personal project or large-scale enterprise projects for casinos. The interface is quite intuitive with customizable templates and the ability to create workflows tailored to specific needs, I just feel empowered to adapt Smartsheet to any project or task at hand. The project plans can be shared with external stakeholders thus giving them real-time visibility of their projects. You can define dependencies within the project, the predecessors, and Successors, the baseline feature is a game changer as it helps you reference the dates and helps you track the lag in the process and timeline, thus you would know when to accelerate to meet the milestones. Smartsheet is a very handy tool and I simply love it.

While I have had mostly a positive experience with Smartsheet, there are some areas where I feel there is room for improvement. Smartsheet provides a lot of flexibility and customization options, but it can sometimes feel overwhelming for new users. The learning curve is deep. A more user-friendly onboarding process or interactive guides could help ease the learning process. Despite some minor drawbacks, Smartsheet is a powerful and effective tool for Project management and collaboration.

It helps improve visibility into project progress, responsibilities, and potential bottlenecks ensuring everyone is on the same page and accountable for their work. 2. Inefficient communication and collaboration - Smartsheet offers real-time collaboration features. allowing team members to work together on sheets. share updates and provide feedback. This helps streamline communication, reduce email overload, and foster a more efficient and collaborative work environment. 3. Disorganised and scattered data - Smartsheet provides a structured and organized way to store, manage, and analyze data. With its spreadsheet-like interface users can create custom sheets, templates, and reports to keep their data organized, accessible, and actionable. 4. Manual and time-consuming processes - Smartsheet automates repetitive tasks and workflows, saving time and reducing errors. It offers features like automated alerts, reminders, and notifications as well as the ability to set-up dependencies and automate approvals, enabling teams to focus on more strategic and value-added work. 5. Lack of project visibility and reporting - Smarthseet offers robust reporting and analytics capabilities, allowing users to generate visual reports, dahboards, and charts to again insight into project performance, resource allocation, and overall progress. This helps stakeholders make informed decisions and track the success of their projects.

Using Smartsheet has drastically transformed the productivity, efficiency, and transparency of work in the department I lead. I love the ability to curate and creatively display information to upper level staff and our executive team. Its ease of use and intuitive design makes enforcing change and getting staff on board simple. I spend all day in Smartsheet, and am always finding new uses for it. Our customers are much more comfortable with our project deployments because they feel more involved with the insights Smartsheet provides.

Honestly, its like night and day with our previous solution, Microsoft Project. At this time I am very happy with the advancements its afforded our team and company, and have no real dislikes.

Smartsheet has allowed myself and my team to centralize all of our projects in one place, providing greater visibility and management cross-team, and at large, cross-departmentally. I personally have much greater oversight into projects, and the ability to assign and allocate resources is a breeze. Customer interaction and engagment has increased ten-fold with the ability to comment and view sheets and have access to high-level dashboards for upper management.

I like that it is live and collaborative and that everything automatically rolls up to reports, and dashboards withou manual intervention.

I wish the sharing options were a little more granular. It would be nice to be able to share a folder. I also wish you could set default sorts/view on sheets. It would also be nice to have more formatting options like excel.

Smartsheet is a great way to gather information quickly and to share information and collaborate. It streamlines some work processes and helps me track various items. It helps keep me and my team organized.

I like the simplicity of the interface and the collaborative nature of the web-based product. While other client-based project tools offer similar features, Smartsheet is instantly available to the team and eliminates the email back and forth. It also eliminates errors due to having the wrong version

I don't really have a "dislike." I think the product does what we need it to do and is very easy to deploy. It satisfies my need for managing large complex projects.

Easy to use and to understand. it is possible to collect and organize data in one place

iI was told that Sharepoint is more expensive than other products I had some understanding difficulties why I could not connect the sharepoint folder to my PC (link). It had connected to my private live.com account in advance. It took some time until I found out what the problem was.

we are able to work on one document together and everybody is able to save the latest version

I was able to complete a database and dashboard to analyse my data better for my company. It looks professional and is easy to share the parts I wish other stakeholders to see and they can see the relevant data they require quickly and easily. I used the smartsheet tutorials to aid me to create my workspace and I picked this up after watching the easy to follow videos

If you have a guest licence you are unable to add column data for drop downs and this I find a little disappointing as some users don't need the full licence to complete admin tasks however I still have to update the column lists

Smartsheets offers a level of flexibility other systems simply cannot. You have a great user interface and the GUI for designing reporting and data collection forms makes everything simple and user friendly. Super deep collection of templates and how to's in the learning system.

Not much to dislike honestly. Tool is super flexible

It helps us a lot as a group in collaborating our work schedules, inventories, etc. And even other department we can work as one. This app is awesome. it is fast and easy to learn.

When we are pending in our payment, we are in the mercy of the provider. I know it is my organizations fault.

Makes our job easier like if you put formulas and workflow in it, it will going to give best results

I find it easier to export project timelines from Smarthsheet to Excel or a PDF.

When you want to unhide only one of the many columns hidden, it unhides all of them and doesn't let you choose.

Not having to use Microsoft Project for project timelines.

I like how easy it is for send a sheet so someone, the connectability in real time just by refreshing the sheet. All online and being able to connect whenever i need to.

I wish the formulas were more simular to excel. Be able to use more formulas across sheets.

The ability to share information, the forms for inputing information into a sheet makes it easy to organize jobs.
