The amount of features in RingCentral are second to none. Great app to manage your calls as well. Best choice BY FAR for any small-medium sized business.
When I used ring central, there were two updates. Both beneficial to the system but took a few extra days to adopt.

It's very easy to set up audio & video conferences. Also, I really like the RingCentral app you can add to your mobile phone, so you don't actually need a physical phone for your "office" phone.

The video conferencing is great because I work from home so I can actually have "meetings" with my co-workers.
Ease of use, mobile app, customer service, web portal for system administration. Voice quality is always great on any time of call. I can be anywhere and connect my phone to Ringcentral and start making calls. I like softclient, I can take my PC and still make calls from any place in the world. I have seen some of the product improvements and lower pricing and thoroughly elated by it. I have enjoyed using RingCentral services and it has helped me immensely in managing my business. I want to thank you for providing such a great service and a superior support staff. Fax service is very simple and easy to use---I can receive or send faxes from anywhere. The RingCentral phone service has been amazing. The service has not been down once and all my calls have been transferred through perfectly. I am telling everyone i know about this service. Every new feature seems to be customer-focused and serve a practical need for individuals and small businesses who need what used to only be available for large companies. Thanks!!!
I think the system is properly designed and don't any problems with it. It would be nice to be able to configure digital lines myself on the portal instead of calling support when I need to move the number.
With Remote employees and not enough time to manage phone system makes our communication needs with our customers successful.

Price The service is to expensive. It is hard to compete with triple play Bundled offerings
Additional communication capabilities for today's workforce
Ring Central has some of the best, if not the best customer support especially on the technical side. Every time I have called them, they have assisted with every little detail. They are kind and walk you through everything. There has yet been a time to call them where they haven't been able to fix an issue or least provide a valid work around. As an MSP, I have had to call support for a few clients.
If the VOIP phone is not n the RC recommended phones, they work, but you may not get all features. It's not a big deal, just make sure you check their list prior to making phone choices. We buy phones through third party so we check their listing now.
The only business problem we had, was not having multiple VOIP options to provide to our clients, Ring Central has made a great addition to our offering.

It costs $13/user/month so not cheap to use the app. Staff needs to be trained before use the app.
We got rid of all physical phone lines and saved the company money as well increased the mobility of company operations.
The fact that it can be linked to JobDiva, is a big win. It makes it all the more easy for me to connect with the candidates without the unnecessary hassle of switching between the two applications.
Although there are not much downsides but one thing that bugs me the most is that it doesn't work as smooth as it should. It lags a lot. Sometimes the buffer time is too long and it has nothing to do with the network connection. I would love a smoother experience
RingCentral helps me to connect with the overseas candidates effortlessly. The calling and texting takes place as easily as it could be. It also gives the option of sending emojis, which some texting applications don't, and helps me connect better with my candidates making the infrastructure of the texts look less technical and more appealing. I can reach out to my candidates over text, calls and leave voice mails as well. Any other platform can't establish such a personal and benifitting bond that Ring Central is helping me achieve with the overseas candidates.

All communications from RingCentral are in English only. It should be in French especially for the leads that I find.
I can receive my phone calls on my desktop, smartphone or softphone. I don't have to run when my phone is ringing
I like the ability to add an 800 number as a one stop shop. This allowed to enhance the professional presentation for our company.
When I had an issue, I opened a ticket and received a response 3 days later. After speaking to the tech, I was advised of the toll free number for tech support. This should be easier to navigate.

We do not have someone dedicated to being a receptionist and our employees sometimes use their private phones. Ring Central allows them to use the system from any platform and keep their information confidential
Our implementation went very well and as close to seamless as you could expect when moving a business from one system to another. We found the project management team at RingCentral to add a lot of help and ensured that we didn't miss a beat with our migration. There were a couple of things with porting that were not within their direct control that they owned and made sure were resolved. Since the migration, we have gone from daily phone issues with our previous provider to our communications system just doing what it is supposed to do and works. Whenever we have an issue or question, we've found the support through their customer support team to be exceptional with getting things answered and timely follow up.
I have to think hard about what we dislike, as we've had a very positive experience to-date. The one thing that comes to mind is their "chatbot" aRChie still feels like it is very much a work in progress. I'm sure it will continue to improve, but presently, speaking with one of their support personnel is much desired over trying to work through the chatbot.
We are using RingCentral for all of our UCaaS. In our prior environment, due to product limitations, we had to have multiple vendors which inevitably led to user education and technological compatibility issues. RingCentral has contributed to simplifying our infrastructure and giving us the ability to work with one provider rather than many.
Text messages that can be sent to customers immediately. The video presentations for setting up meetings with potential clients are beneficial.
The robocalls I sometimes receive through the phone system are pretty annoying.
When complaints come, I receive the calls directly to resolve customer issues quickly.
