Honestly, Quickbooks is the best accounting program I've used and really have no complaints. For a beginner all of the options may seem overwhelming. It with their helpful techs available and guides - makes accounting a breeze !

End of month reconciliation of the books is always a challenge but Quickbooks really makes it easy - the reporting has made a huge difference and has saved ma a lot of time not having to calculate Certain numbers with the P&L's I would normally have to do myself

Our quickbooks freezes or crashes a lot, im not sure if thats something on our end or quickbooks.

Easy setup with V2 hosting at a much cheaper rate than what Intuit wants to charge for their hosting. Hosted solution allows us to seamlessly work from the office and home without skipping a beat. We also use Webgility/ECC to connect our shopify stores and amazon to it.

Every couple of years you have to update to latest software version and they are trying to force you into the subscription. Also our company file size is getting to the upper limit of quickbook's abilities.

Easily manages multiple companies without adding additional cost. Sectioning off access to areas allows us to give access to employees where needed while restricting access to sensitive information.

I really loved the fact that all the tax and payment info was so easy to understand. Also, the forms are all in one place and I can download them whenever I want.

I didn't like the fact that we have to ask our employers to change our banking info.

My Employer uses the platform to manage employee payrolls.

Desktop Enterprises is incredibly robust to work with manufacturing / inventory as well as providing additional reporting to aid with our financials.

The bank feed feature is a bit cumbersome and I do not use - more efficient to import transactions.

Enterprise helped us solve inventory issues and has streamlined that process.

I like the interface and the many options for processing financials in a variety of ways that I need for my own personal assesssments as well as for what my accountant needs

Startup can take a bit of time, just because there are so many features learning how to use them all is necessarily somewhat time consuming, but relative to what the prioduct offers the learning curve is reasonable

I am using it to manage the finances for two different businesses, as well as for various aspects of my personal finances. It has made it way easier to prepare records for my accountant at tax time. It has also made it easier to track expenses of all kinds, and to do higher level assessments of how my businesses are faring.
