I love the ease of use, the team, and the fact that it gives you all the information to optimize your content.
I've seen the product evolve quite a bit. There is a slight learning curve, but it's 10x easier to grasp today than it was a few years ago.
Scaling our content program by simplifying how we create and optimize keywords and content.
I like that you can use MM to easily find keywords you missed and compare your page to other top serps pages. It's fast and easy.
It takes a few minutes for it to look up a keyword. That's a bit frustrating.
I don't need to bug our SEO team near as often!
I love the score I need to beat from competing websites. I love seeing what words to use and how many times to use them. I love that you can save your work.
I wish it would tell me which word to use based on the topic I'd like to write about. Sometimes it will glitch and not save your search or writing.
Making my content SEO ready to be seen on Google.
I use MarketMuse for my website content optimization. It gives you the best content through its powerful AI techniques, which search through the web and gives you relevant content to your topic. It also helps me to get the best and high volume of relevant keywords for my content topic going to be written.
Nothing, everything is just perfect as compare to other content optimization tools.
Content optimization. Best and relevant keywords extraction for my content topics.
Ease of use with all the tabs and the quick turnaround from the support team
Sometimes the service runs slow and the optimize function takes a few times to pull the correct article from the URL
Helping my articles reach a wider audience, locate missing topics/keywords and keep on top of current events
MarketMuse is highly effective at optimizing content and helping my affiliate and local leadgen pages rank better on Google. I have subscriptions to multiple optimization tools which I regularly use. While there are many good tools out there, implementing the suggestions made by MarketMuse consistently provides me with the best results.
The only slight knock I have on MarketMuse is the content editor. The formatting options and overall content editor experience could be improved a bit. That minor complaint doesn't prevent me from using MarketMuse daily.
MarketMuse helps me in both the content planning and content optimization process. It essentially automates the SERP analysis process, so I can determine what Google likely considers topically relevant for a given keyword search. Content Planning: Once I have a content idea, I plug the topic of my future article into MarketMuse's optimization tool. MarketMuse analyzes the SERPs for my chosen keyword and comes up with pretty spot-on topic suggestions. I take the most relevant topic suggestions (which is most of what MarketMuse provides) and hand this information off to a writer as part of a content brief. Content Optimization: When I receive the completed article back from the writer, I will run the article through the optimization tool again. I will then edit and optimize the article based on the suggestions made by MarketMuse.
I love that their accuracy with relevant keywords is so high. The software I feel offers much more relevant keywords when compared to most market leaders, and the content briefs also help in creating a decent outline. They even have suggestions for internal and external linking with the exact words to link to. Overall I am a happy user.
Usability could be better, take a leaf out of Surfer's book? The explainer videos aren't great. They can do with some snackable content to take users through all the features and how exactly to use them. i.e. Need more interactive, engaging content to get started because there's a bit of a learning curve.
Keyword optimization is first, and I'm also using the 'compete' feature to compare how our blogs fare for each of the top keywords. That's a very useful grid.
Market Muse has effectively helped my created content consistently enjoy a high SEO ranking, resulting in many satisfied clients!
Bit of a nitpick, but the delay whilst MM seeks out keywords is one area that could be continually improved.
MarketMuse helps me to identify the keywords integral to achieving a high SEO score and keeps my clients' content at the top of Google searches.
It is very intuitive and does a great job of improving our content for SEO.
There is nothing I dislike. It is a great product.
It is helping us write better content for SEO and our rankings are improving.
It's so easy to use, and gives me the information I need to make SEO-rich content for my clients. I've helped hundreds of businesses reach page 1 of SERPS with MarketMuse.
The keyword organization list is a little confusing. It's not clear if the keywords are organized by importance even though there are suggested keyword importance numbers.
It's hard to find an accurate SEO keyword research tool that makes sense and is easy to use. MarketMuse is user friendly and the onboarding is quick and painless so I can get started right away.
On both a sitewide and page-level basis, MarketMuse shows you how to optimize for semantic relevance. Using its unique topical modeling technology, you know which articles to write, what to write in those articles, and how to beat your competitors in SEO content strategy. This is a must-have tool for any content or SEO professional writing in the internet age. We use it for keyword research, copy brief creation, and topical analysis in my businesses.
Like any powerful tool, there is a learning curve to MarketMuse. It's fairly short, but you have to invest the time.
When Google shifted to "things, not strings", SEO people had to shift, too. Now we're in the age of natural language processing (NLP) and AI-backed search engines, so you need tools in your corner to help you take advantage of that. Google looks at the topical relevance of your entire website when deciding to rank you for a keyword or group of keywords (topics). How do you build out that topical relevance in a systematic way? MarketMuse shows you how.
This platform is easy to use and has made a huge difference in the quality of content I'm able to create through the guided briefs, strategy and research capabilities available.
The only two things I'd love to see are an easier user experience when adding H2s to briefs and the ability to quickly and easily export topic and url views to share with clients.
Providing personalized data for each URL allows me to be more confident in my content creation strategy to support clients. It also allows me to strategize the best internal and external links to use which is a huge help and time saver. I can make decisions based on data while still being creative.
Marketmuse is a mature product, and this is shown by the results for any query as they are deep, informative and really do help answer intent.
Marketmuse has quite a slow progress of development, when compared to other newer tools.
It helps write authorative content on any topic.
I like the ease of navigation through all the various features. I also enjoy the simplicity of how everything is broken down to be easily consumed by a variety of experience levels.
That when you start one query in one feature it doesn't carry over your progress to another query feature. For example, if I am researching a topic, why not when I go to write the content it compares based on what I was originally served up in my research query.
I am solving SEO problems by finding the proper content that fits the topics I am aiming for. I am more productive when I structure out my outline and goals with research from Marketmuse.
The best part about MarketMuse is the topic model. Their topic model might or might not resonate with google's model. But I would say they are closest in the industry.
Mostly NONE. It might not be helpful with briefs and First draft for some niches with low competition. But for a low competition niche, I think you only need their research tool and optimize tool.
A BIG help in organic growth. It helps understand the content cluster-based approach rather than just writing out content like throwing darts in the dark.
Honestly, I still feel that I haven't discovered all of the amazing aspects of this tool yet. As a Stanard-plan member, I do have a bit more leeway when researching or analyzing competitor articles. But there are really two things that were really a game-changer for me: 1. *Relevant* keywords - Not all SEO-powered writing tools differentiate between keywords for a specific article. I originally used Topic, and have also used Clearscope and Frase. All these tools are great, but their keyword recommendations are not always practical or contextual. 2. The number grade - Clearscope and Topic use letter grades, but I've found the use of a number to rank the keyword density of a piece to be a bit better. It gives me a better indication of how much more relevant the article could be compared to other high-ranking articles. And of course, the optimize/research tools are great. Since I got the 30% deal at Black Friday, I feel like it's a good price point for a solopreneur/small agency owner.
To be honest, it's a bit slow. That isn't necessarily a MarketMuse problem, though. It would also take Topic several minutes to create a file. Sometimes I wish it had a few features that Topic or Frase have, such as pulling common questions people ask from Quora or Google. Topic had a nice tool to pull statistics when it was still around. But those are minor things. The SEO relevance and results I've experienced for myself and my clients have really outweighed the minor inconveniences of having to open Google.
I'm a content writer, and I focus on blogs and websites. As a result, I try to provide the best quality human-oriented posts and include SEO best practices. I believe it's possible to write good, value-based content that also ranks. MarketMuse helped me cut down hours of SEO research through its laser-focused keyword recommendations and competitor information. Its keyword research tools, especially its new Topic Navigator, have further accelerated my process. Before using it for my clients, I tested it on my own blog. I optimized an article about learning Bengali, and this article jumped to my top-performing article AND it ranks 4th on organic Google Search. Most recently, I had a client tell me that my first blog for them (which I also wrote with MarketMuse) was performing 12x better than their other post. I've also compared my MarketMuse articles to those in Topic, Frase, and Clearscope, as I have clients who use these tools. An optimized article with MarketMuse that meets the average target for keywords or exceeds it typically also ranks high in other platforms. So I feel pretty confident with the platform overall.
I like the optimize tool. It gives good suggestions and it is very easy to use.
It sometimes changes the format when I copy the content from the app
It helps me improve the quality of my articles and have better rankings.
My favorite feature is the Optimize option, which makes optimizing an article straightforward. Using MarketMuse has provided consistent results in our SEO rankings. In the past couple of years, I've been able to rank on page 1 for at least 50 keywords, and it would have been way harder without this tool.
When we used the First Drafts service at my previous company, the articles were subpar. Maybe they already fixed this, but it was obvious they were using writers whose first language is not English and did not know about the topics they were writing about.
MarketMuse informs our content briefs in terms of the ideal article length and the keywords (and frequency) we need to be competitive with the top-ranking articles. It makes our work faster and more effective.
The software is easy to use and geared for multiple expertise levels. It provides an eminently easy and actionable way to improve search results and drive greater organic traffic. We've literally (OK, well not literally but...) performed miracles with it. I've been a user for about 5 years -- hard to imagine doing marketing without this software and easy to use process/methodology.
Support level varies. CS is hit or miss. Some are very aggressive about setting up touchpoints. Others you don't hear from much. Though the software really doesn't require a lot of handholding.
Increasing traffic and leads through organic sources for our site. We want to grow our organic website traffic and mrketmuse helps us attract more qualified traffic to drive lead generation efforts.
The prominent article optimizer is Marketmuse that I love most because of its uniqueness. I can quickly check my competitor and get suggestions from MM on how to beat them easily with a super cool article. That is why I love this AI tool most.
The UI is a little bit weird. And they don't have any Chrome & Firefox extensions, which could help me speed up to complete my tasks. But the good news is, they have this plan to bring the feature.
Now I can fill up my website's content gap of my niche sites. So I can quickly get a better SERP and increase my earnings up to 150%, which is fabulous to me.
