Ease of use. Loom is simply the easiest way to record and send a quick video message. I especially love the simple editing process to quickly and easily snip out anything I don't want in my final video.

I wish I could add a little bit more branding to my video landing page than just my company logo. It would be nice to have the ability to spice up the look by using my brand colors.

As a video marketing coach I provide clients and colleagues with quick one-off how to videos. Most of them are short screen share videos of me showing them how to do something. With Loom I can easily make these videos and send folks the link to watch via LinkedIn direct message or email. I especially love how Loom integrates so nicely with both Trello AND Notion.

I use Loom to record technical walkthrough sessions for my job. I record my screen, and sometimes, my face. I trim the video using the loom feature, share it directly with my teammates, get their reviews directly on the video, download the videos. I can keep my videos organized by category for easier access. I use the Chrome extension to quickly start recording the videos with minimal input. The ability to focus on creating the content without having to worry about configuration, setup has increased my productivity manifold

It's very straightforward and easy to use. I normally record my screen, send videos with my team, and is pretty helpful for teams that work across different time zones, where you don't usually have meetings. It is also a handy tool for sending videos to clients who need support.

Not much to dislike here. It has all the things one requires. One complaint I have is, that it becomes laggy sometimes on even my latest Macbook. All else is good.

There's really nothing that I dislike or find lacking in Loom. It's easy to use and manage. As the admin for our team, I can easily add people to our team, create workspaces, and change permissions.

Loom also offers the ability to create and store screenshots, which I don't use because that feature is built into my computer. And if I want to make fancy screenshots there is software specifically built for that. But maybe some people would prefer to have that feature in Loom, so I guess I can understand why they offer it.

I use Loom every day to give instructions to my virtual assistants, and also to record some of my key workflow procedures. Some of the things I do I do only once in awhile and it's nice to have a record of what I did to come back to later. I love how easy it is to search my Loom database and quickly find old videos.

My favorite part of Loom is the ability to have the GIPHY of video.

I don't have anything that I don't like. I love everything.

The biggest problem is client communication.

Being able to share a quick video link to people makes sharing thoughts or directions easy. I also like the Chrom Extention tells you when people view the video. This feature is not as creepy as it sounds ^_^ b/c this gives me the information I need so I am not pestering them if they have watched the video yet.

In the bottom left corner, the system will feature your face if you choose to make an appearance while recording. If you choose to not use this feature and only want to record the screen, the system will show a large icon with your first name initial. This is a tad annoying if you need that real estate to show part of the answer. Especially true for me since I work in software and onscreen direction is mainly what I am doing.

I converted to Loom from Soapbox b/c the upload time of the video in SB was increasingly slow. Over the course of several months of using SB, my upload times started becoming longer than the videos. Loom's upload time is significantly faster, such as done in minutes. I am mainly sending directional and problem-solving videos to people and this get's it done. Saves time from unnecessary video conferencing, videos can be viewed when the other person is free and helps with not jamming my calendar full of calls that are easily solved.

From task instruction to creating a tutorial, Loom just made it great! Easy screen recording with camera & mic just made is incredible. Thanks to Loom authority for this type of astonishing software. Unlike other screen recorders, Loom allows me to share my work with my team by sending them the video link, and they watch it as a Youtube video. Also, I can add them as my team members in Loom, and they can take part in the same interface.

Seriously, I am a big fan of Loom. It allows me to save up to 25 videos in its Library. Anyway, Loom allows up to 5 minutes of recording for each video, and it would be great if they allowed me up to 10 minutes 😂

I use Loom at least to 3/4 times a month for screen recording. Sometimes I need to make tutorial videos for my team, and Loom assists me a lot in creating such kind of professional screen capturing video.

I've been using Loom for over a year and it is absolutely amazing. First of all for employee training. As I'm working on something and I think this is what I'll need to teach or show my employees, I just record a loom video and download it into our shared files. At any time we can search for a topic and find a video. I can't tell you how much time it has saved me when it comes to training. The other thing, I do a quick loom video for my clients. Going over a report or showing them how to do something or any other sort of training. I saved so much time by cutting down on meetings. I honestly can't imagine my day-to-day operations without loom. I highly highly recommend it. The other great thing about it is that you're able to send a link for people to watch your video and don't even have to download it. Then you'll be notified when it was watched.

It has limited video editing options. But then again, it's not a video editing software. It does have basic options like trim the vidoe or cut the video out where you need to. There are more things that I do like about loom than I dislike about it.

The biggest problem would be employee training. Benefits would be the fact that even if someone forgot how to do something, they can return and rewatch the video. When an employee comes to me and says, how do I do this, instead of wasting my time again and showing them, I simply say watch the training. We have two screens, and since loom is a screen recorder, we can have the video on one screen and work on the other screen doing it as a step by step process. The biggest benefit would be the amount of time we save. You don't even need to use it for business. I use it for personal reasons as well, especially when it comes to my daughter and schoolwork. She uses it to create gaming videos too and shares them with her friends.

After years of living out of email and instant messaging services, it's nice to send a video to communicate instead of a drawn-out email. When responding to a question that I know will arise again later, I respond with a Loom video and file it into a folder in my library. Over time, this has turned into a video/screen share training library to benefit others. The user flow is so much easier than recording, saving, uploading to a third-party platform, then sharing/sending a link. It's as easy as click, record, paste!

The desktop application has more nuaced features than the chrome extension. I also wish that when recording camera only, the preview would go full screen. When I see the circle, I frame myself accordingly, but the video that is recorded is the full frame of my camera and there maybe things in my background that I would have adjusted or would have rather not have shown. These are minor things, and I think the new "recording canvas" is supposed to be the solution to that, but I haven't explored it so perhaps my complaint is null!

Loom is a great way to increase connection asynchronously. I've made team announcements in messaging or email platforms that have the feeling of a team meeting but don't require scheduling and taking time out of everyone's day at once. I've also started using Loom with teams to create training libraries of skills allowing review on-demand. There are libraries of videos that we embed into other communications to develop a hybrid of video and written information. This increases accessibility as the visual and audio learners have video, and those who prefer written information can read the email or video transcript.

The ease of creating videos frofor training and review purposes. The ability to create groups of items/folders and limited access.

I don't like the big orange circle that appears in the bottom right corner when recording begins. I always end up hiding it.

Training new employees is so much easier with Loom. I can have all of my processes recorded so that trainees can go back and view them when they have a question or forget a step. Reviewing an employee's work can also be recorded so they can have a visual outline of any errors made.

The ease of use for not only me but for my clients!

The editing is not as user friendly as the rest of the system. Trimming is not as simplistic.

This is how I communicate with my clients so they better understand how to utilize the system I creat for them. I use loom for tutorials and explanations. It also saves me time!!

Sometimes getting the recording right can be tricky with all the different options available.

I am solving customer re-engagment, customer education, and internal team efficiencies by recording a loom rather than creating a meeting.

I love using Loom to share my screen and show my potential clients what my business looks like by taking them on a tour. They not only get to see what the screens look like, but they also get to see a bit about me and my personality to see if they can see themselves working with me. I've gotten lots of clients this way.

There's so many ways to share the Loom video I sometimes get confused about which way. I need to learn more about this. In the meantime, I try out the different ways until I get the way I want it to look (i.e. with a gif or without)

Members of my community sometimes ask technical questions. Instead of typing a long response, I create a quick Loom and answer it in 2 minutes or less. Super efficient.

It is so easy to use and share videos to clients.

Nothing it is wonderful and so helpful to use for my business.

Communication

It's easy to use and has a robust feature set including window selection and a countdown timer. I typically record my screen and Loom makes it easy to do so.

I honestly do not have any particular complaints about Loom other than I do not use many of its secondary features; it's simply an effective way to record and immediately upload to the cloud.

I often review design or code from colleagues & Loom enables me to quickly send video drafts to clarify points of improvement for my team.

I love that I can quickly record both my screen and face. It was responding to emails fast and makes my tone clear. Especially when working remotely, this is a huge time saver!

There isn't anything about Loom I would change!

It saves me time and elimintes any tone getting lost through text or email. It's a clear way to explain something and record examples.

I love the ease, and sharability Loom has created for users and business owners. I make a lot of videos for team members and share links in slack. Looms are now how we share weekly client reports.

Loom used to be free but I realized how much I used it so the investment was a no-brainer for me. I would love to be able to track drop off rates and engagement rates for each video on the paid plan.

With Loom you can avoid unnecessary meetings with 5 min videos. A quick video can clear up many questions that clients and emplkoyees may have.

I love that I can film my face OR put up a professional picture of myself if I'm not interested in showing my face or location that day. My clients LOVE receiving Loom videos from my team and me. It's truly what sets us apart from our competition and allows for phenomenal feedback for our clients!

My Chrome extension version of Loom allows me to quickly put up a picture of myself, but my desktop version doesn't as easily allow for that; I haven't figured out that functionality on desktop yet.

I've been able to cut my number of meetings in half by sending over Loom videos of my thoughts. I am also able to record Webinars and presentations through Loom!

I love the ease of creating and sharing videos in Loom. It's so easy whether I'm on my phone or my laptop. This is one of the few products I actively recommend my clients pay for the upgrade.

The only downside is I feel the desktop app can be a little buggy. I tend to use the Chrome extension.

With Loom, I am able to show my clients different features of systems and easily provide tech support.
