Quick response time from customer service
no reports on projects/tasks that are done
We are able to see all projects at once. We can keep track of each project/task that each individaul is working on. We can make deadlines and make sure everyone is sticking to them.
The way it shows the routine tasks in the calendar.
It's a little bit confusing on the tasks above the page. It changes a lot the meaning of the task dependending on what you need.
Im solving the problem of having mistakes on how many hours per day I spend on each task. There's a lot of benefits, but the main one certainly is the organizing method of the website.
Liquid Planner works great when planning out sprints and estimating out what can be accomplished in a certain time frame. It also works well for maintaining a backlog.
I wish it had reminder capability but there isn't anything that I really dislike about Liquid Planner.
I use Liquid Planner as a backlog for all of our planned projects. I then have sprint packages prioritized on top and am able to pull up any items from the backlog projects to create a sprint. I can plan the work in advance. Assign developers and have them provide estimates. This gives me an idea of how the amount of work that can be accomplished. I also have bug folders that I keep track of production bugs and development bugs. The reporting is great - I use the reporting aspect to report capitalization and productivity.
I really enjoy the ease of use and making planning project very flexible.
Sometimes it can be rather complicated to make things show up on a calendar correctly for employees to follow.
Flexible planning and changing scope and deadline dates is very easy. I also like the way that estimated hours calculate total time for project. Reporting on project time and cost is a click of the mouse away.
As a project manager with over 50 different clients with multiple projects, it's difficult to stay organized. We implemented LP about a year ago and it's definitely been a work in progress, but it's made our jobs SO much easier. With LP, we can easily track our project, who's working on what, give deadlines, run reports, and look at everything at once. It's easy to create a delete tasks, prioritize items, and give clients updates on their projects.
LiquidPlanner was tricky to get used to--as all new software products are. But, I feel like we've truly gotten the hang of things and now it's the lifeline of our project maintenance.
It keeps us all organized. Anyone in the company can look at a project and see what the status is (Is it close to being done? Are we currently working on it? etc.) With the amount of clients and different projects we offer, I can't figure out another software we could use that would allow us to track and manage as well as lp does.
I enjoy LiquidPlanner overall. I like the project management and time tracking combination that this program has to offer. My team uses this heavily to track projects as well as our time. We can input the amount of time spent on projects/tasks as well as updates on the progress. I also like how you can upload files related to each project. This really helps us with organizing.
There is nothing that I dislike about LiquidPlanner. Thus far I've had all positive experience with it and can't say anything negative.
We are solving any issues related to project management and time tracking. I've noticed benefits with both of those purposes. There are also other benefits to the program. If I have questions about a project i'm not specifically working on, I can go to another user's projects and see where it stands.
I like that Liquid planner has multiple folders where you can store different information, and keep track of projects. You can also have as many users on each task and have ability to assign to someone, which I think is the most important, so you can see who is the last one on the assignment.
It is a little bit too complicated, and needs to be simplified. I see that there are lots of steps and you can definitely achieve a lot with Liquid Planner. But in our company's case, I think if it can be toned down, it will be more efficient.
We are trying to be more organized and efficient. We had a lack of communication between the departments, but after using Liquid Planner and having everyone on the software, it definitely makes everything more cohesive.
It helps us to plan daily work by sending alerts on project we are allocated day to day. and also warn us of project going off tract
may be some validation is missing for example i can by mistake put 25hr for monday instead of typing 2.5 this is not validated ( <24hr )
I am Software engineer i work according to assigned tasks, this has help me organize my work
Resource planning across multiple projects, with the ability to make daily adjustments to priorities. Stop problems before they occur with flagged items.
Reporting is not as flexible as we would like. We have to work around the constraints of the system.
We run over 20 projects at a time, with some resources working on 5 or more projects simultaneously. LP helps us understand when projects are in trouble, a long time ahead. It helps our project managers be more organised. We can react to customer requirements and be better informed and in control.
I like the ease of the views, how you can package things in tasks, and the timeline view. This makes for easy project management and allows you to manage things like scope creep.
There isnt much I dislike. The only thing I can currently think of is not being able to run 2 timers at the same time.
Using a tool like this is really helpful when your doing software development.
Answers the first question all clients have correctly: "when will you be done?" Also makes tracking billable hours a lot faster and easier.
Would like to see what the project labor cost is in reporting as part of the free plan.
Answers the customer and as owner my biggest question, When is it done and when will we get paid
The New LP platform has made significant improvements in resource scheduling, importing and exporting of data.
The New LP platform does not provide all of the functionality as Classic LP in producing/exporting Gantt charts or in timesheet review and locking.
LP allows detailed project planning, resource assignment and allocation, and capacity planning across multiple projects.
The customization is what I like best.
I'd like to see more customization or a version of the product that is specifically for L&D or curriculum projects.
It helps us with scheduling projects, assigning projects, resource planning, forcasting.
Easy and convenient to use. Advanced functions to track metrics.
Bit hard to manage multiple projects with multiple people in parallel

Realtime cloudbased means access from anywhere and instant updates
More custom fields, especially calculated fields would really add to it.
Resource allocation, timeline estimation, resources availability, status presentation.
Range of times for estimates. I can see an accurate picture of My Workload easily and my manager can easily redistribute tasks. Estimates take into account the fact I can only work on one task at at time unlike many other Project Management tools that assume you can everything all at once unless you create artificial dependecies. All pages are live and update instantly without needing to refresh. Dependencies work really nicely and can be created at the predecessor or successor side.
The interface can be a little cumbersome or flaky sometimes. For example if I assign a task to myself then click to allocate the estimated time it loses the assignment. Once you know the niggles you can usually work around them though.
We are able to create tasks for our Development projects and assign them to the appropriate developer. Tasks are automatically distributed across the remaining days based upon Developer availability and can be reallocated as required.
Liquid Planner features GANTT Charts which I relied on whenever I wanted to have a clear overview visual representation of tasks and project progress. More so this product has saved a lot of time because there was no need for me to enter estimates manually, it is capable of using any update to do recalculations of deadlines and dates when tasks will be completed on its own. Another benefit that I have got from this product is the ability to be on the same page with my team members hence goals are achieved effectively and swiftly. Liquid Planner can intuitively set priorities on tasks through its predictive algorithm and using this factor has always allowed me to organize my tasks since I will be having a lineup of tasks to complete based on the level of priorities. It also features tools Task Management that works in the storage of projects, schedules and files in one place for every team member to easily access it.
In terms of drawbacks, Liquid Planner did not allow for me to add sub-tasks for any of my team members which is a factor that provided a lot of inconveniences in terms of task allocation.
Liquid Planner has been very beneficial in my workflow since it has an interactive platform where we were able to put down comments on tasks, this helped us to stay on the same page during the projects because we would be sharing ideas, changes to be made and updates.
I like that within a few months our organization was firmly onboard with the capability and impact this powerful project management tool could be. We have turned around our response times and have produced more early complete results.
There are a few things that do not seem as intuitive, analytics and time sheets. But I believe this could be due to how our organization is structured.
We were able to give our project managers a proper tool to do their job. Also we were able to ensure the entire process from start to finish had all the players involved and communication could be handled seamlessly.
I like the ability to track my progress .
I dont dislike anything about liquid planner.
we can track how long projects take to complere
How easy it is to add new tasks and organize time within the folder structure. Keeping track of which team members are working on what projects and how long they are working at a glance makes scheduling easy.
More layout customization within the timesheet section would be nice. Plus, dark mode.
