My favorite thing about this platform is every time I open it up, it gets better. They are constantly rolling out new features, making things faster, asking for feedback, making very visible improvements based on what their users say (including me). It just keeps getting smarter and smarter and more responsive by the day.
Their onboarding communication could be better.
It's made SEO just incredibly easy. I'm used to working with very technical research tools and having to use several of them to get a clear picture of how content is performing. This app is fantastic because it streamlined my workflow and in the most aesthetically pleasing way. It changed my mind about search and content marketing tools, that it doesn't have to be difficult or complicated. It can actually be fun
Provides the best ideas. Gives recommendations that are on point. Always suggests the right words and topics to make articles as comprehensive as possible
Grammar/spell check isn't as strong as some other apps. Their last email blast said they were coming out with an update for this soon, I know I requested it personally.
Ranking for more snippets, more engagement, SEO/content marketing is now outperforming SEM investment
THE TEAM! The people behind this company spent just so much time thinking about how to make the perfect tool content marketers and it shows. They are so open to feedback and get in touch with you instantly to talk about your ideas. I sent some random feedback with the button in the app about how it would be useful to be able to open and close tasks and they reached out to me. I ended up making a video walking them through my feedback and my ideas and they loved it. They put a lot of them straight into development which really impressed me. They love what they do and are super sweet creative geniuses. Best experiences I've ever had with any platform/company, just overall impressive people and and impressive app.
You have to get used to the concept of scoring your work and sometimes I don't think I can get to 100% but it's not really clear why.
Well I'm super focused and don't get caught up or slowed down by the details anymore. I used to have what I call a "preflight checklist" with all the things I needed to do before submitting an article for publication and I was able to get rid of that. Ink helps me stay organized and prioritize the top things to work on and the focus mode also keeps me on track.
I don't understand SEO at all and this app made me feel like a pro. Incredibly clean visually. Digestible recommendations that make sense and are easy to understand. Clear organization of tasks and options make it easy to understand what's important and what I need to do.
The video tutorials are great, jam-packed with really useful information about the app and SEO in general, I'd just like to see shorter versions for quicker reference.
I wanted to better advertise my Pro Bono services to connect with more of the community during these difficult times. I considered hiring a consultant to help me build pages that appeal to my area (local SEO, I think) but this investment was just too expensive for a Pro Bono project. Instead, I got some help with the keyword research and used this app. It helped me take care of these local pages myself and pop up in the first 3- 5 Google results for my area.
I work mostly on the SEM side of things, so I'm not well-versed or very comfortable with SEO. A client I was running Facebook campaigns for asked me to look into SEO for their blog and I really had no idea where to start so I got in touch with a writer friend for some advice and they put me on to this tool. My client gave me the keyword research and I was able to hook up SEO blog content using INK. I'm not so good with details or writing but the way this app works helped me understand what I need to do when. Clear actionable advice. Really futuristic design but not hard to use. Everything is streamlined and guided. Only was confused on the score so I reached out to their help. Felino was extra responsive and polite and explained everything so even someone SEO ignorant like me can get it.
I would like to see more video tutorials. I'm a visual person and pretty impatient. Even though their help chat and blog was super helpful and solved my problem, I don't want to have to take an extra step of talking to people every time I have a question.
Was able to handle SEO for my client without knowing much about it. The INK content we wrote for them performed better than any other pages on the site. Got 6x local traffic over 2 months vs before those pages went up. Client was happy, so I'm happy.
What I liked the most about this software is it guides you about how you should prepare your SEO-based blog. It tells you how much passive voice, adverbs, etc. to be used, where you should put your focus keywords, and much more. Overall it's quite a great software for content writers like me.
It worked just fine for me, so I have nothing to complain about this platform.
We wanted to create blogs that required to be optimized for search engines and it helped greatly in that area. Additionally, it also helped us in increasing the readability of the blogs we create.
Their AI powered app is pretty useful. It has a lot of tools like AIDA copywriting, catchy subjects for e-mail and much more with the free app.
I don't know if this is apart from the free app, but I would like to be able to change the language. Besides that, no complaints at all.
It solved the problem of how we can create a well-structured copy as a starting point.
I'm using the free version of INK. It's so useful tool to tick off necessary SEO and Readability requirements for web content. I'll be trying out the PRO version soon.
I've not been able to use much of INK's AI-generated content. I anticipate these suggestions will improve over time. I'd like if INK had a mobile app so I can use anywhere, anytime.
SEO and Readability features are the best!
How easy it is to understand how well you can expect your content to perform. It gives you clear recommendations on how to improve and an SEO score to see how optimized your content is for your keyword. Most of our writers aren't SEO experts so having this score gave us a straightforward and easy way to understand how good SEO wise our content is.
Would love a tracking function where can see what edits other users have done in an INK file.
We had a pretty aggressive quarterly goal to increase SEO traffic to our site by 50%. We went with INK because we liked the interface and read positive reviews. After a test run of 30 articles that were optimized in INK, we saw our SEO traffic increased by 62% in 6 weeks. We exceeded our goal in a fraction of the time set and are looking forward to what the next quarter's numbers will show.
INK is one of my secret weapons in prepping for new client meetings. Especially now, an organization's digital presence is top of mind. INK gives me an added selling point and a nuanced touch to offer a more robust and well-rounded growth approach for new customers.
Some key elements are almost hidden and a little hard to find. I like the minimal design but it can create a slight learning curve.
Even without an SEO background, I'm able to do a full analysis of a company's content and how it stacks up against their main digital competitors. I'm able to confidently point to improving digital marketing and SEO as another way to boost leads and increase sales, which is not something every customer development manager does despite the increasing importance of online branding.
