I liked how easy it was to connect it to my file explorer (and the ease of opening in Microsoft). I liked the notifications of when someone else had changed the file.
I can't think of anything that I didn't like about using dropbox. I gues just that it's an extra fee. I switched to OneDrive since it was included in my Microsoft license.
Collaboration between remote employees. We are preserving historical documents in a central, easily accessible location.
It doesn't clog up your email and it's a fast and easy way to send and recieve large sized photos or file you would not be able to email or send otherwise. Highly recommend!
You have to pay for extra storage once you reach a certain threshold. I quickly filled up my dropbox and unless you want to delete files permanently then you have to pay for upgraded storage.
I send and recieve large photos and documents with my clients. It's great, especially for large photos. It retains the size and resolution without cutting down on quality. I use it every week and have never had any problems. You just invite via email who you want to share the files with and you can also choose if you want them just to "view" or be able to "edit".
The encrypted data storage facility of 300 Gigabyte guarantees a huge storage facility and accommodates all kinds of media. High security comes handy in safeguarding our IP address. The cross-device sync adds convenience ensuring working everywhere on any gadget.
The signing of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) on Dropbox can compromise organization and go against business intelligence. This aspect needs to be revised for organizational security
We had challenges sharing videos and applications online between teachers and students. Some online platforms and email handling does not allow for applications to be transferred, Dropbox provided the much-needed storage, sharing facility.
I have been using Dropbox for over a decade. It wasn't until recently when the company hired my younger brother that I discovered the platform's full potential. I utilize Dropbox to store, archive, and remotely access all of my youtube video recordings. The desktop app makes it very user-friendly, and there are so many tools to utilize once you dive in deeper.
The only downside to the application is that when attempting to download huge files or folders, a timeout error occurs. You must either download them file by file or send them to another protocol they have in the software for large downloads.
I have solved the issue of bogging down my computer's local storage, which causes it to run slower. The cloud app has benefited me by allowing me to access files on the go anytime, anywhere from any device.
I like how I'm able to store photos and files while also giving access to outsiders to use my Dropbox files if needed.
I dislike the lack of programs that are attached to Dropbox or are compatible with Dropbox.
I am able to access photos and files from outside companies I work with. It makes it easier to store files when working in a virtual office without a shared drive. Isin Dropbox, all staff members can access files, photos, documents, in the same place.
Dropbox professional has allowed me to easily share files with a wide variety of clients, including those who do not have Dropbox themselves. The sharing settings have become smoother over time, making it increasingly low-hassle. As someone who is frequently needing to send high memory files to a wide range of people, this has been incredibly helpful.
I would like for there to be a way that folders could be sent for edit access without needing to invite specific accounts— sending a link that would allow for collaborative editing to anyone who clicked it, for example.
The ability to do away with email attachment limits will always be one of the best assets that Dropbox provides. As someone who works in the entertainment industry, I am able to easily send electronic press kits to media personnel without worrying about anyone being unable to access the files. It also allows me to deliver photo galleries to photography clients.
the ability to synchronize files on time is very amazing
sometimes it duplicates files when you don't allow it to start
we use it to work remotely and also easy accessibility of files everywhere
What I like best about Dropbox is that of how easy and remotely it is to work with. The best thing about it is that it gives you a more detailed and stability to share and encrypt files all over the cloud.
There's nothing I dislike about Dropbox is just that the fact search functionality if you wanting to get old file back on your system. Sometimes if you log in it somehow gives you en error, but other than that it runs smoothly.
Whether I'm working alone or am part of a team. With intuitive collaboration tools and advanced security features, Dropbox gives me everything I need to get work done on the go
It's very easy to use. Self explanatory and the design is intuitive, nothing is difficult to figure out. I can collaborate with my external clients and it helps me share different kinds of files very easily. Sharing & collaborating is just one click away. The Mobile app is also easy to understand and use. The paid plan starts at about $10 and seems very reasonable with the amount of storage you are getting.
There are no cons. I have been using dropbox for professional reasons and personal. It has been very up to the mark.
It has helped me seamlessly collaborate with my clients as well as internal colleagues. Taking Backups of my files. Organising data is also simpler.
What I like the most about Dropbox is the ability to connect with third-party devices to make my backups
Dropbox has managed to cover all my storage needs. Right now I can't find something I don't like. Of all the tools I have tried, I prefer dropbox
Among my achievements, I have managed to connect WD devices and software such as SQLBackupAndFTP successfully and without problems. I am running the backups I need with scheduled tasks and later making it easier to identify the files.
I love that I can access my photos and drop them in very easily!
As with anything--we always need more storage.
I'm freeing up space on my phone and sharing files with others and working on projects together.
Whenever we have big files to share, we use DropBox. It is easy to create folders and to add documents in as well. We then create links to send the folders with documents for others to view. It is also great dor just storing documents.
Nothing! Love DropBox. It facilitates so many things for us.
Sharing big files and document storage
Dropbox makes it easily collaborate with a team. The integration with Mac makes it smooth to share and collaborate with a team. We tried utilizing box, but it did not have the abilities that dropbox had.
The only thing I dislike about Dropbox is that the sharing capabilities are a bit limited if I want to have a public file listed on the website. Sometimes the link will stop working.
it makes our team collaborate easier by setting designated folders where we need creatives. It helps when we have team members working from home, and the connection between us is instant.
On the daily basis, we use DropBox to share files with employees and with our clients. This is such a reliable and secure service that we are thankful to use them.
There seem to be issues with synching some of the documents when we are sharing them with our clients. We have requested help for this and it has been fixed a few different times.
File sharing is always challenging. Many clients try to send files via email and that does not work out very well because some of the files are very large and cannot be sent.
I can organize Dropbox to my liking and make sure it serves the need I have of it.
Video format while watching video on Dropbox leaves a lot to be desired
Sharing large viles, sometimes extremely large video files. Sharing and watching videos is what I primarily use Dropbox for.
DropBox has been a very reliable method for large and small file transfers for our organization for years. For example, I am a public speaker worldwide, and I regularly transfer promotional videos, flyers, photos, etc. These are "mission-critical" items, and DropBox has never let us down.
From time to time, I will encounter clients who do not have enough space in their Dropbox account, which forces me to find other ways to send files to them. It would be helpful to find a way to remedy this situation when it arises. Fortunately, this is not a common occurrence.
Transferring large files in a reliable, secure, and timely manner was a big issue in the early days of the Internet. DropBox solved this early on, and that's why I continue to subscribe year after year.
Dropbox business makes it easy to file share with supplies who are not in the same city as you. We deal with suppliers who need big art files and you cannot send that through email, so we create a shared folder on dropbox and give them access to the files. We also use dropbox with our bookkeeper so he doesnt need to come into the office all the time
There has been nothing i dislike about dropbox. It works great for our business. Easy file sharing with other people outside our organization. Nothing to dislike
File sharing large files with suppliers in different cities. File sharing with other companies when the file sizes are too large to send through email or not using outside links
I love that I can sync multiple devices and set those devices to automatically download files to a dropbox folder and have all my working files at my fingertips.
I have to pay for three users as a minimum, but I only use it for one. There are also great consolidation tools in Dropbox Business, but I don't need them at this stage in my business.
I store documents for clients and can review and produce them anytime and anywhere I may need them. When a client reaches out to me with a document request, and I can quickly resolve it, the client is usually impressed, which helps me appear organized and professional.
I like the fact that I can have all my files in one place on all platforms wherever I go.
I dislike the amount of free storage before they make you pay.
Dropbox helps by letting me have all my documents ready at a tap of a button.
Dropbox is a great tool to use to share documents across the business and across clients for data and images/videos needed for digital marketing. It's easy to make sure the right data is being shared to the right people.
I have not experienced any downsides while using Dropbox. It performs well and there have not been any issues that I'm aware of yet. Dropbox is a simple to use tool and easy to upload files.
We and our clients use dropbox to share image, video, and data files in our day-to-day operations in order to maintain good communication and proper knowledge of projects.
