I don't like anything about this company. I did not do any business with them because of the way I was approached. See below.
I was called a few days ago and asked to be interviewed for Tripadvisor. We scheduled a phone conversation for today at 10:00 AM. When I received the call the entire conversation started off about Constant Contact and how their product could help me run the business. When I said that I was told to be interviewed for an article and that I would not like the shady approach nor wanted to do business on the phone and would hang up now the person on the other end was very rude and said that I can not hang up and that I have to listen to him. I am not letting anybody tell me what I have to do. I can make my own decisions. If this company already needs to lie to get the first contact and get somebody to listen to them I don't even want to do business with them. If they would have a great product this would not be necessary. All people in charge of the restaurants in my company have been advised to not engage in any conversation.
Business Analysis.
Nothing. I do not like this application whatsoever.
Had a friend set me up with a trial account. I spent two hours importing a contact list and setting up a campaign. When I got to the point where I was ready to send an e-mail it was a promo page with a "Buy Now" button, and it wouldn't let me send the e-mail. Worse than bait and switch. Stay away.
Trying to send send an email
Templates but other than that nothing. ..
They will not email to other businesses and do not tell you, their client, or the subscriber. Subscribed us to services we did not ask for and over billed us almost $200 and REFUSED a refund even though we did not use or even access the service.
Currently, I am solving the problem by finding another service. Not only have they subscribed me for services I did not ask for and over billed us almost $200 and refused a refund then though we did not use the service - they have proven to not be upfront and honest about their business. I was told the reason they don't email to businesses is because there could be multiple people viewing the email such as a group email address and no way for them to monetize this. Yet, this is not something a client can know; it is not something they tell subscribers when they sign up for mailing lists and it is not something they tell you when you purchase their service.
how do you expect that I should respond to something that I have not had the opportunity to use and/or evaluate so far there has only been negativity to evaluate but it appears that you might well be really good at that.
I called customer service to inquire as to how Constant contact works because I don't want to distribute information to all of my contacts depending on the content that I am distributing at the time - also to find out how charges are levied and what those charges would be - the person that I spoke to was rude and abrupt using terminology that I was not used to hearing - as per usual you end up speaking to some geek who has a tendency to talk down to talk down to the average user - this the conversation was terminated - you can either connect me with a representative a little more - actually make that a LOT more user friendly or I move on to the next monkey on my list
The problem that I am trying to resolve is the one set down by my illustrious government demanding that my information e-mails or e-blasts as I call them recipients be given the opportunity to unsubscribe - I thought maybe your service was something that I could use. Too bad I didn't get a chance to talk to someone with reasonable communication skills to help me with my questions
