Being a #'s guy I love the analytics BigCommerce furnishes for us. I can keep track of our online business in real time. The way BigCommerce connects with other online services helps me work better as a coffee roaster.

The BigCommerce App could do a better job of tracking specifics on orders.

Our goal as a coffee roaster is to be able to roast coffee anywhere in the USA. BigCommerce is giving us the opportunity to do that. After our bricks and mortar business our website is our 2nd largest revenue stream.

My store was easy to build, and I have over 300 customized product pages My store looks amazing My store is easy to access by my customers, navigate, and complete purchases Adding products and web content is a snap Making changes to product and web content is a snap Customer support is over the top - extensive help pages, but never long at all if you want to talk with someone - AND the "someones" always really know what they're doing and are extremely courteous Analytic tools are amazing. In an instant I can see what's going on, make comparisons of different business time periods, and track my business growth Can easily find past orders for clients and customers, customer info (never CC info, which is NOT stored!) Very easy to process orders for my customers if they prefer to do it that way Merchant gateway processing options are basically anything you want New pricing about to be initiated is kind to me and appreciative of my loyalty Finally, I can't think of ONE negative and would recommend BigCommerce to anyone serious about running a smooth Internet business without the headaches I haven't taken advantage of their SEO services, but that's just me and my business priorities/time I haven't taken advantage of their shipping services, but that's just because I already had a system in place

Absolutely nothing. When I've needed help with some of the trickier aspects of products, such as - for example - product options and option rules, I've quickly been able to become informed. Sometimes it's simply searching the extensive online support resources, but if time is short and I need help NOW, it's a phone call away and no one says, "You could have found this out for yourself with a little more digging..."

I really don't feel like I have business problems, but I've been using BigCommerce as my e-store host for several years. Maybe that's why!

We've been with BigCommerce for about two years. BigCommerce offers an excellent platform and fine customer service. This is a dramatic improvement over experiences with former companies.

I have no complaints about this company. It takes a lot of work to build a site, but BigCommerce simplifies the process.

I like everything about the BigCommerce platform. I've spent 10 times more money on other tailored sites and I would never do that again after using the BigCommerce options. I've often commented to people it's like a platform designed by a business user/owner and not a computer geek!!. No offence anyone. Very good all round service from the BigCommerce team. Easy to use Admin interface with every tool needed to create and run an online store. By far the most user friendly cart on the market

I think that the issue's that stem the most are non-customizable forms and custom product tabs

Finding a solution that has the complete package including access to customize product tabs and editing the check page form fields to taylor exact needs. Also being able to create products for delivery would be great to have calendar with delivery date

As an eCommerce web developer, BigCommerce is a fantastic solution for both the developer and the user. The platform is continually updated and improved, allows for flexible design customizations and easily adapts to your ecommerce marketing channels. Though every eCommerce platform has it's quarks or limitations, I would say that BigCommerce fits the bill for 99% of online selling requirements right out of the box.

Like I said previously, every platform has it's limitations or quarks that just don't seem to work right. For BigCommerce, the biggest set back comes in the shipping settings and controls. I often find that shipping can't be set up exactly how a customer would like to have it. I know this is an area that BigCommerce is working on, but currently there is much room for improvement. One of the other major set backs is that BigCommerce doesn't currently allow for recurring billing. Yes, gateways such as Authorize.net can accommodate recurring billing, unfortunately, you can't set it up through the checkout process on the front end. This is a real bummer for any subscription based service provider. Note: This is another item BigCommerce and many developers are currently working on.

One of the biggest problems that BigCommerce solves for many of our clients is content management. We migrate many users from other platforms such as Wordpress, drupal and joomla to BigCommerce and every one of them enjoys the easy to use content management ability. One of the other major benefits that BigCommerce users enjoy is that the platform is well maintained, updated and offers free technical support when you need it.

BigCommerce stands out from Shopify by not charging platform fees or commissions on any plan. Additionally, BigCommerce offers a range of in-built, user-centric features at no additional cost, preventing prices from quickly escalating. Our users have reported difficulties in locating and understanding certain features during the setup process. BigCommerce is not a quick and easy solution for ecommerce, but it can be manageable with some patience and investment of time. Additionally, the revenue-led billing structure may not be suitable for stores with tight profit margins, potentially placing them at a disadvantage.

Hosted Solution is a critical feature that a startup e-com entrepreneur is looking for, s and it can save time and money. so a big boom for the startups and growing ecom stores untill they come to phase where they can build, develop and manage their own custom platform

From beginning to end, the service has been fantastic. They have taken the time to build a curriculum to educate all our users about every tool available.

There is a considerable learning curve if unfamiliar with similar platforms.

Ease of customers placing orders online. We are integrated with Avalara AvaTax for simplified sales tax calculations.

There is a learning curve to getting everything set up, but it is user-friendly so if you have decent computer skills, it is not too difficult to figure out.

Bringing online customers to our store front. We can run special promotions or offer coupon codes. It also lets us know if there are abandoned carts.

The ease of implementation and the comfortable payment plans. Customer support is very good in any language.

As it is entering Latin America, it still needs to implement some facilities, which it already has in the United States.

You have complete freedom to design your website and collaborate with your colleagues. BigCommerce can be used in conjunction with other applications. Create widgets for your custom components using the page builder. BigCommerce offers mobile e-commerce with a variety of customizable features.

Some changes to BigCommerce require strong HTML and CSS skills. After viewing, notifications will not be marked as read. Additional costs are required for plugins. Beginners face a steep learning curve. Their plans have sales volume restrictions. There are currently no shipping discounts available. The ability to recover abandoned carts is only available on higher-tier plans.

Using RSS content and shopping feeds, BigCommerce allows you to improve your page visitors. It's tied to Google's product search engine, allowing you to get more traffic directly through that channel. BigCommerce has tools that help your online business increase conversions and revenue. It is extremely easy to find customers' orders and any information related to that order. Also, the ease to communicate with customers. It is a very easy platform to navigate.

I do a lot of specific coupon codes for different organizations and by doing this they are easily able to be tracked. I am able to see how many times those specific codes are used.

The user interface is very intuitive and it is very easy to manipulate content.

Uploading images and pdfs must be done through a third-party file-transfer app, which is a little bit of a hassle; I'd prefer to just drag and drop.

Offering custom discounts on individual orders is easy to do after the order is placed - this was not always the case. We used to have to void the order, then contact the customer and have them place their order a 2nd time, using a discount code. Now, when we decide to offer a discount, we can reduce the price on the back end and not bother the customer.

It provides best customer care support and has inbuilt features. It provides free trial to enjoy the services.

We need to implement inbuilt drop shipping. It has automated email report and has abandoned cart.

I am loving it's user friendly template that they offer. They have a professional store, without paying somebody online aspect for me.

There is a good section of professional templates with responsive content. Customers are impressed with the look of the site and cost of operation is more affordable than the top competitors.

There are more templates and integrations available for competitors like Shopify.

My previous web platform was not responsive, making usage with small devices difficult. BigCommerce fixed that with a highly professional look. The platform manages all security and features updates, bringing great peace of mind. No more managing web code and fighting off hackers.

In 2019, I started working on the Bigcommerce platform. And now it has been two years. Following are the point which i like the most in bigcommerce: 1. The power of Dashboard. Any change you want to do, you can do it through the dashboard. 2. The page builder creates widgets for your custom components. 3. All You need is the assets and content for your website, and then choose a theme for your product. 4. The third-party integrations are straightforward to do using big commerce.

1. The templates are available in handlebar format. It might be difficult for a non developer to edit those files. 2. Logo cannot be added as SVG from dashboard.
